Our Mission
Hands On Car Wash is a social enterprise operated under Jobwell; a non-profit organization with a mental health mandate that focuses on recovery through supportive employment.
Research has proven the positive impact that employment has on recovery, yet up to 90% of people living with persistent mental illness are unemployed. Our mission is to remove the barriers caused by stigma and discrimination around mental illness and create meaningful employment for individuals in the Kingston area. Recovery is our focus- it’s possible through work.
